To ensure the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information, all data transmitted through the iLinkBlue portal is protected using encryption protocols aligned with current industry best practices. Access to applications within iLinkBlue requires authentication using a unique login ID and password. This login ID serves as a secure identifier and does not automatically grant access to all applications—access is provisioned based on role and authorization. Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is enforced for all users to enhance login security. Providers are responsible for safeguarding their credentials and authentication methods. Under no circumstances should login information be shared or systems accessed by unauthorized individuals while a session is active. All users are expected to uphold the confidentiality of member data and comply with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana’s security policies when using the iLinkBlue portal.
